Pearce Cycles Downhill Series Rider Information The Pearce Cycles Downhill Series is a British Cycling Regional A Ranking Series. It sits one level below the British Downhill Series (BDS) so is a good introduction to racing. You don't need a British Cycling licence to race our series, but we'd recommend you look at the benefits of British Cycling membership if your participation develops.

Ashley Maller is crowned the 2010 Pearce Cycles Series Champion - Ashley secured the overall title with a win at Bucknall. Asheley went into the final day with a lead of 100 pts and staying on his bike and keeping ahead of Robert Smith was the order of the day. What a different story it may have been had Joe Smith competed in one more Pearce Cycles Event based on the form he had shown in his previous 3 outings in the Pearce Series.
Emma Wareham took the win in the women's Elite race, and the overall Series win with two victories in five rounds. Emma was on the podium at every round she competed in this year and was in a class of her own.
Well done to all…..
